I remember briefly hearing of Carol Decker's harrowing ordeal in the news, and then... nothing. It has been nearly a year since her tragic experience, and she and her family have crossed my mind countless times. It's not the sort of thing you ever forget. I was astounded to see an update and hear of this silent auction when I happened to visit a favorite blog today! I would do anything to help this brave woman and her family! Well, that was a pretty amazing story. I can't believe everything that she/they have gone through and to be blind on top of it. It must seem surreal. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
