The NERVE of this intimidating gang - infiltrating this quiet neighborhood in Helena, Montana! In broad daylight! My friend Wendy sent these to me - her son and his family live in Helena - and it made me smile. I just had to post them because it reminded me so much of when we lived on top of a mountain in Sandpoint, Idaho. We encountered moose and other wildlife all the time. I looked up once just in time to see a moose running lickety-split right through our back yard. So funny :) But the pics of this suburban neighborhood just cracked. me. up.

oh wow, that would totally freak me out. i'm almost freaked out now and i'm miles away. very cool. i received my wonderful photo, today. hung it right up and will photograph it shortly. thanks, meg! xo, c
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine walking outside and seeing "the gang" standing/sitting on your front lawn? On our first visit to Helena two years ago, Brandon was showing us the sights. We were in the foothills area and actually saw some deer in someone's yard!
ReplyDeleteOn our way home from Montana that year, Aaron was talking with one of his friends on his cell phone. Brody was asking him what he was doing and Aaron told him that we had just left Helena. After a few minutes, Brody said that if he ever moved to Helena, he was going to start a handbasket company. We heard Aaron laugh then he told us that about the handbasket company. We said "what?" "A handbasket company?" Then it hit us: Helena Handbasket!!!! :o) Gotta love that Brody!
WOW what a sight, pretty cool as long as your in your house. hope they didn't do any damage.

WHAT AN AWESOME SIGHT. I WOULD LOVE TO WALK OUTSIDE AND SEE THAT. I WOULD BRING OUT CARROTS AND APPLES AND SEE IF I COULD FEED THEM.
